2020 Resolution

January 19, 2020

We’ve been in 2020 for a couple of weeks now, so I thought it would be a good time to do a quick recap of my resolution for 2019 AND share with you what my 2020 resolution is going to be!

JANUARY 2019
FEBRUARY 2019

If you’ve been following this blog for a little bit, you’ll know that my resolution in 2019 was to take a picture of Hudson every day with my camera, not just my phone. I’m happy to report that I succeeded and now have a picture of Hudson from every day of 2019!

MARCH 2019
APRIL 2019

I won’t pretend that it was as easy as I thought it would be, but I will say that it was definitely worth it! It’s been so fun to look back at the photos and see just how much he’s changed throughout the year. It’s insane the difference a year makes!

MAY 2019
JUNE 2019

Some people have asked if I’m going to continue taking a picture of Hudson every day for 2020, and while it would be awesome to see the difference over 2 years, I decided to do something a little different!

JULY 2019

AUGUST 2019

This year, I’m going to commit to baking something new every week! I’ll be honest, this new resolution actually came to me today as I was looking through a couple of cookbooks for recipes, so I have 3 weeks to make up. I suppose my ultimate goal is to bake 52 new things this year, and let it happen when it happens (i.e. if I bake two things this week, it’ll be okay to skip next week, etc.).

SEPTEMBER 2019

OCTOBER 2019

I’ve already got quite a few recipes to try from a couple of different cookbooks, and I’ll be scouring Pinterest for a few more (or rather, I’m finally going to try some of the recipes I have pinned). I’m excited to start baking up some goodies, and you’d better believe the husband is just as excited for this resolution! I guess I’d also better get started on that working out resolution too… 😬

About Me

Hey y’all! My name is Breena and I’m a twenty-something military wife! My husband, who is commonly referred to as “the husband”, is a Pilot for the United States Marine Corps. I’m a mama to Hudson, and a “parent” to two precious (and crazy) kitties.  I grew up as a military brat, and am now on the other side of things as a military wife. Feel free to follow our journey as we explore this crazy life together and share our adventures!
