Today the husband came home with *drum roll please* HIS FLIGHT SUIT! Okay, to be honest he was probably way more excited about finally having it than I was, but it was still pretty awesome to watch him get so excited about it. I even got the run-down on everything inside.
Sunday Drive
Today was a Sunday to add to the books. The husband and I decided to get out of the house and just drive. We haven’t explored much of the area outside of Pensacola, so we set out in our car to nowhere in particular. Our exploring landed us in Destin at the beach for some picture taking (because obviously our cameras travel with us when we go exploring)!

Y’all are in for a real treat today! Two posts in one day!! I’m taking my blogging to the extreme, just don’t expect it to happen again.
First Solo
The husband has finally completed IFS and will be beginning API (think, lots of studying) on Tuesday. We are trying to enjoy our time together this weekend just relaxing and being with each other before he gets in the full swing of things. I’m so excited for him and this next part of his journey to become a pilot.
Looking Back
This time last year, I was in my apartment getting ready for the first of many nights without the husband (almost 9 months of nights, if we’re counting). He had landed in VA and was starting his 10 weeks at Officer Candidate School, followed by a lot more weeks at The Basic School.
